Easton the Brave

Welcome

Hello, family and friends! Welcome to the Grant Fam blog, where we’ll post updates about our baby boy’s journey with retinoblastoma.

This rare childhood cancer starts in the retina (the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye), but can spread to other areas of the eye, the optic nerve, brain, and bone marrow. It can be eye- or life-threatening. Easton currently has one tumor in his left eye. It is considered a “Group B” tumor on a scale of A-E, E being the most progressed.
